Velvet jacquard wallcovering.

This jacquard abstract design is our tribute to the story of velvet in Italy, especially Tuscany during the Renaissance. From the XIV to the XVI century Florence was one of the most important Italian velvet center, sending their products to all the European courts where they were used for incredibly sumptuous attires. There still are producers of velvet in that area. The technique might have changed, the patterns be far from what was trendy centuries ago and the pile viscose instead of silk but the passion for this special fabric is still alive and strong. Firenze is a jacquard wallcovering with a pile contrasting with the luster ground and it’s available in inspiring bright and cosy colors.
